Calaina Goodyear


Calaina graduated from Ohio University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and currently works for the American Cancer Society. Her work background includes AmeriCorps VISTA and working for other local non-profits in Manatee County. Her passion is for fundraising and has years of experience with recruiting volunteers, grant writing, and special events.

Calaina joined Junior League of Manatee County in Fall 2011.  She immediately fell in love with the organization and wanted to take a leadership role. Prior to serving as President, Calaina has spent her time in Junior League in the Treasury department filling the assistant role and Treasurer for two years. She also was double placed in Grant Writing and was on the committee for the inaugural year of Lunch with League. During her free time, she volunteers with many other organizations, visits Disney World, and is a huge Tampa Bay Lightning fan.

Calaina moved here from the Ohio Valley area with her husband Phil Green, and their dog, Hannah.

Amanda Marello

President Elect

Amanda is a true manatee county native. She is a graduate of Manatee High School and The University of South Florida where she received her degree in business Management. 
Amanda join JL in 2009 and in 2010 served as one of the America Girl fashion show chairs. She briefly took a leave from league to focus on family but came back in 2013. She served again on American Girl in 2014 and is now excited to serve as Finance VP. 


Professionally Amanda works as a branch manager at a Harbor Community Bank. Personally she has a wonderful husband, a three year old son, and a one year old daughter.


Bobbi Jayne Vitale

Finance Council VP

Bobbi Jayne is a Georgia native. She graduated from the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS!) with a Finance degree. She then got her Master’s in teaching and has taught elementary school and middle school health. Currently Bobbi Jayne teaches HOPE for Florida Virtual School. Bobbi Jayne and her husband moved from Atlanta in 2012, wanting to move to the water. They got married on Anna Maria Island and like it so much decided to move to the area!

Bobbi Jayne joined the Junior League in 2012. She wanted to meet new people and give back to the community. Bobbi Jayne has served as the Public Relations Chair on the American Girl Committee for the last 2 years.

She is currently living in Ellenton, FL with her husband, Ben (UF graduate)  and son, Maverick. They enjoy boating as a family and throwing their annual Georgia/Florida Tailgate every year, since they live in a house divided.



Kelli Chidester

Community Council VP

Kelli is an Iowa native.  She graduated with a degree in Psychology from Iowa State University – Go Cyclones!  With her husband, she moved to Sarasota 10 years ago which was only supposed to be temporary.  But as time went by, she realized that she could not survive another Iowa winter after experiencing winter in Florida.  In 2010, she planted her roots permanently after purchasing a home in Manatee County. 

Kelli joined Junior League of Manatee County in 2013 as a Provisional in order to meet new people and to become active in the community.  Prior to serving as Community Council VP, Kelli has served on the American Girl Fashion Show Fundraiser and Admissions/Provisional Committees. 

Professionally, Kelli works as an IT Business Analyst at CoCENTRIX, an EHR software developer.  She resides in southern Manatee County with her husband, Nate, and their 5-year-old daughter.  During her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.



Lauren Geraldson

Membership Council VP

Lauren is a Florida native who grew up in Southeast Florida. She attended the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She met her husband Steffen, a Bradenton native, at UF and moved to Bradenton in 2013 after graduating from UF. She is currently attending Nova Southeastern University pursing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree (and graduates May 2017!).

Since she was new to town Lauren joined Junior League as a Provisional in 2013 to meet new people. Prior to serving as Membership Council VP Lauren served on the American Girl Fashion Show Fundraiser committee for the past two years.

As a full time student she doesn’t have much free time, but enjoys reading a good book on the beach, being out on the water, and cheering on the Gators in the Swamp every Fall. She has a huge obsession with all things monogrammed! Lauren lives with her husband and their fur babies in Northwest Bradenton.



Erika Lisch


Erika is a 5th generation Manatee County resident. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go GATORS!), she wanted to explore the world outside of Bradenton and moved to Chicago. While living in Chicago, she went back to school to get her masters in accounting and knew as she started her new career, that she wanted to come back to the family and community that was always "home".


Shortly after coming back to Bradenton, Erika continued in her mother and sister's footsteps and joined Junior League of Manatee County in 2011. She has worked on fundraiser and provisional committees as well as chairing the Kids in the Kitchen committee twice, putting on the annual Get Your Fit On event and joining the Executive board as Corresponding Secretary for the 2015-16 year.


Now a Certified Public Accountant, Erika works in the audit department of CPA firm Cavanaugh & Company. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling as much as possible, and all things Gator (for better or worse)!



Kara McAllister

Treasurer Co-ordinator

Born in Pennsylvania and moved to Bradenton at the age of 10.  Attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Manatee High School in 2000 (GO Canes!). Attended and graduated from Florida State University (2004) with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs. 


After returning to Bradenton, decided to pursue a nursing degree and received both Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing from State College of Florida. Currently working as, a registered nurse at All Children's Hospital and Tidewell Hospice.


I have been an active member of the Junior League of Manatee County since 2007 and served in various capacities.  I am also the Board Secretary for Foundation for Dreams/Dream Oaks Camp.  Currently spend time with my family, friends, and 2-year-old English Springer Spaniel Sierra. 



Tara Eitman

Recording Secretary

Tara spent most of her life living in west Michigan. She moved to Florida in 2011. Tara has always hated the snow and loves living in the sunshine state. 
Professionally Tara is the Compliance Manager for It Works! in Palmetto.  
In 2011 the company transferred the corporate headquarters from Grand Rapids Michigan to Bradenton which gave Tara the opportunity to escape the cold.
Tara is married to her husband Kyle of 4 years who followed her from Michigan to Florida on the amazing adventure. She has no children but does enjoy the company of their 2 fur babies (Kitties) Bonita and Blackie. 
Tara joined Junior League of Manatee County in 2011 as a way to meet new friends in her new home town. Tara's position in league has been exclusively on Team Treasury moving up from Treasury Assistant to Treasurer Coordinator and is proud to be the 2015-2016 Treasurer.


Sierra Tomlinson

Corresponding Secretary

Sierra is a Florida native who grew up in Southeast Florida before heading to The University of Florida where she met Josh, her husband of 11 years, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Josh’s career brought them to the west coast of Florida in 2004 where she later earned her MBA from Webster University.


Sierra currently works as a Senior Project Manager for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in their Operational Excellence Department.

Sierra joined League in 2014 as a Provisional and has worked on the American Girl Committee the last two years.

Sierra lives in Ellenton with her husband, Josh, and their son Joshua.



Jennifer Franko


Jennifer has grown up in Bradenton since she was five and is a very proud USF Alumni. Jennifer spent some of her youth living in different states but settled back in Bradenton in 2008.


Jennifer joined the Junior League of Manatee County in 2009.  Since joining she has worked on fundraisers, chaired Placement & Arrangements and served on the Executive Board as Membership Council VP, Recording Secretary, President Elect and President.


Professionally Jennifer is a Manager for the Customer Success Department at YourMembership.  For being an outgoing IT nerd this is a dream job for her.  Personally she is the mother of two amazing teenagers who get roped into League events.
